Violence in the media promotes violence in society.  What extent do you agree or disagree?

Violent scenes in action movies and horror movies, Affect CHILDREN’s behaviour

->As Children who do not have sufficient intellectual capacity, they could imitate their characters, become aggressive and cruel,

-> Eg, reported: some children in us use gun to shot their friends after watching movies

-> Nếu không có cảnh bạo lực, trẻ em sẽ cư xử như bình thường,

Mặc khác, có nhiều lý do ý kiến trên vô lý

+Bạo lực xuất phát từ bản chất của con người (human nature) hơn là do media

Nhiều vụ Khủng bố, giết người hàng loạt, (mass shootings) liên quan đến rối loạn tâm thần  hoặc thuốc (psychiatric disorders, drugs)

+ In fact, there are some positive sides of exposre to violence in media

deter people from violent behaviour in real life if they are aware of serious consequences

eg, murders put in prison, loss of freedom, social isolation, loss of the chance to get jobs; relatives of the victims also become upset and distressed

children who realize this would be wary of their actions in future, thậm chí học cách phòng vệ, ngăn ngừa
